RINGFINGER are an energetic young 4 piece from Brechin, Scotland, who love performing live, whenever and wherever. Creatively each member have different influences which contribute to the unique sound of the band. Formed in Brechin around 3 years ago by Rob Young and Colin Ross, Ringfingers current line-up was completed 2 years ago when they were joined by Jason Annandale.
Ringfinger are made up of:
Rob (guitar/vocals) is 25 years auld and has been playing guitar from the age of 13. He has been writing and performing songs for around 6 years and is the bands main songwriter aswells as being one of the founding members of the band.
Colin (drummer) is 24 years young and has been playing the drums for 8 years. He played snare from the age of 7 with the local pipe band and was the lead drummer for 4 years before leaving in Oct 2004. He also spent 3 years studying Audio Engineering at Perth college.
Jason (Bass) is the youngest loon in the band at 22. He has been playing bass for 7 years (seems longer!) and studied it for a year at the ACM in Guildford, Surrey.
Stuart Robertson (guitarist) is twenty four years old and has been playing guitar for around eight years. He spent two years studying Audio Engineering at Perth College.

Ringfinger are playing The Excange @ Marco's (Edinburgh) Sat 12th May 2007. Tickets are £6 and bus will be running from Edzell, Brechin, Forfar and Dundee at a cost of £14 return. Anyone interested should contact band members or leave a message at our Myspace site.
